Minerva Pictures at the Rome Film Festival
26 September 2023Minerva Pictures will participate in the 18th edition of the Rome Film Festival, scheduled from 18 to 29 October, presenting two incredible 4k restorations and one documentary.
“The scent of the night” by Claudio Caligari – Restored by CSC – Cineteca Nazionale, in collaboration with Minerva Pictures. A fitting tribute to a great master of genre cinema 25 years after the release of his second unforgettable film, presented out of competition at the Venice Film Festival in 1998. With Valerio Mastandrea, Marco Giallini and Giorgio Tirabassi.
“Medea” – by Pier Paolo Pasolini. Restored by the Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna, in collaboration with Minerva Pictures, at L’Immagine Ritrovata workshop and presented at the Rome Film Festival for the tribute to Maria Callas. The restoration allows you to listen for the first time to Maria Callas who doubles the character of Medea.
“Our Monument Valley”, a documentary by Alberto Crespi and Steve Della Casa dedicated to the rediscovery of the locations of the films that have made the history of Italian cinema.
