In a small-town carabinieri station, a marshal interrogates a young postman nicknamed ‘Chickenshit,’ arrested for threatening a patrol carabiniere. Despite his silence, the marshal senses a deeper issue. As the postman reluctantly opens up, he recounts a traumatic event from twenty years ago involving his five childhood friends. Now in their thirties with emotional struggles, they reunite in their hometown to confront past horrors and come to terms with the trauma that has haunted them since childhood.
