The Safe House

2025 - Comedy

Paris, May 1968. As the city is shaken by student riots, young Christophe takes refuge in his grandparents’ apartment, an intimate and protective world inhabited by eccentric and loving figures. While the outside world seems to crumble, within the walls of their home unfolds a bittersweet comedy exploring the power of family bonds in times of crisis.

Based on the eponymous novel by Christophe Boltanski, winner of the 2015 Prix Femina, The Safe House is a tale of growth and memory, enriched by Michel Blanc’s final, poignant performance.
