EISMAYER AT THE 38th EDITION OF THE LOVERS FILM FESTIVAL

Eismayer, by David Wagner, will be screened out of competition at the 38th edition of the Lovers Film Festival, the oldest LGBTQIA+ festival in Europe, scheduled in Turin from 18 to 23 April and directed by Vladimir Luxuria.
The narration, based on real events, treats the topic of sexuality in the armed forces, following the story of Lieutenant Eismayer, deputy of the Austrian Army, a feared man and perfect example of toxic masculinity, who is gay and lives his sexuality in secret. When he falls in love with a young soldier openly homosexual his world is torn upside down.
Winner of the Grand Prix of the 37th Venice International Critics’ Week.
Winner of two Awards at Les Arcs Film Festival.
Eismayer will be screened Friday, April 21 at 17:30 at the Cinema Massimo 1 and Saturday, April 22 at 22:15.
