Ryosuke Yoshii, a mysterious young man known online as ‘Ratel,’ works in a small factory and makes a living as a reseller of medical equipment, handbags, and miscellaneous items. He doesn’t trust anyone, is reclusive, and, after three years of work, refuses a promotion and suddenly quits. He then decides to move out of the city to a house by the lake and begins a new life with his girlfriend, Akiko. With the help of Sano, a local young man hired as an assistant, his business seems to be thriving, until strange and disturbing events start happening around him, one after another.
