The story of a legendary battle, in which seventeen fearless men defended their country against an army of thousands of soldiers. In the 13th century, the horde of Mongol warriors and their leader, Batu Khan, controlled much of the known world. The last Russian strongholds fell inexorably to the advance of the Mongols, who were also preparing to invade Europe.
