The gossipers and greedy brothers Amedeo and Ofelia Pecoraro, have inherited an old building in the center of Rome, in which they live and from which they draw their sustenance, collecting the poor rents of the old apartments. After receiving an attractive economic offer for the sale of the building, provided that it is free from people and things, they constantly devote themselves to convincing tenants to leave their apartments and move elsewhere.
