“Margherita delle stelle”: premiere at the Umbria Cinema Festival
20 July 2023World premiere on Sunday 23 July, at 9 pm, for “Margherita delle stelle”, a TV film produced by Rai Fiction – Minerva Pictures, directed by Giulio Base.
It will be the latter, together with actor Flavio Parenti (who plays Margherita Hack’s husband in the film) who will meet the public of the Umbria Cinema Festival before the screening of the film in Piazza del Popolo, in Todi.
“Margherita of the Stars”, written by Monica Zapelli with Federico Taddia, retraces the life of Margherita Hack, from an independent and curious child to a free and non-conformist girl, until she became the first woman to direct the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste.
The protagonists are Cristiana Capotondi, who plays the role of Margherita, and Cesare Bocci as her father Roberto. Together with them Sandra Ceccarelli (Maria Luisa, Margherita’s mother) and Flavio Parenti (Aldo De Rosa).
Margherita delle stelle is a Minerva Pictures and Rai Fiction production and will soon be broadcast on RAI 1.
